What documents do I need to export?


Have export invoices stamped by the Internal Revenue Service (SII).

Packing list detailing quantity, type of packages, net weight, gross weight.

Shipping instructions (detail of the transport company, which means of transportation will be occupied, name of the ship, quantity and type of packages, weights, date of shipment, name, address and contact of the importer, customs of shipment).

Mandate conferring power to the CUSTOMS AGENT, to represent it (provided by the agent)

Certificate of origin; Usually when there is an agreement or treaty with the country to which the goods are exported, or at the request of the buyer.

Phytosanitary certificate of inspection carried out at the plant by officials of the SAG, those that will issue said certificate (when it is required).

Insurance Policy, if applicable according to the sale clause.

To avoid rejects of the merchandise in the country of destination, it is recommended to consult the buyer what documentation may require origin to intern the product (example: phytosanitary certificate or some another type of sanitary certification or requirement that demonstrates that the product is free of any component that is not allowed in the destination country).
